The Dog Park Project
The installation of the access ramp railings is a complex and time-consuming task. It was agreed that paid workers from Graetz Fabrications will be engaged to assist the volunteers.

The opening of the park cannot happen until the Council accepts completion of the project. Once that occurs, it was agreed that Hon. Jenni Mitton will be asked to officially open the park at a special event.

The text of the “ thank you” sign still needs to be agreed. Proofs of the other required signs were circulated and approved.

A function to thank volunteers will be organised and a paid two-page entry in YRN will thank all donors and volunteers.

Noted that while the consultation closes on 19 May, ratepayers can still contact their local Councillor after that date to provide feedback.
